I also have a similar story--i broke off my engagement 6mos b4 the wedding, went to counseling with him-tried to work things out--it didnt happen. 4 months after i gave the ring back. he had a new girlfriend....engaged 6mos later. has become a totally different person. he is now a "born again"(i couldnt get him to step foot in a church in the 5yrs we were together)i recently heard he gave "our" dog away b/c his new fiancee didnt like him-the dog he wouldnt let me take cause he was so attatched to him. Its been the hardest thing i have ever gone through in my life--doesnt seem like it for him! Not a day goes by I dont think about him.

At 8:06pm on September 5, 2008, vinny said…: EHY,HEY..THANKS!!I have just alwasy loved dogs.Even when I was little,any dog anywhere in the vacinity of me would come running to me.Cats...not so much,but my brother does have a cool cat who stole my heart,so I am coming around to cats.I have just alwasy grown up watching my dogs getting picked on by cats,and fighting with cats.My brother always had cats,and I always had dogs.I do love denver though....Bronco are my favorite team too.I have a boxer right now,just put down my lab about a year ago.Best story of how I got that dog.Long story short I walk into this pets smart for a present for a friend of mine and it winds up being dog adoption day.Anyway They have these little kids holding the dogs leashes(must have bein a school project),this dog breaks loose and follows me around the whole store.The kid was afraid to say he let the dog get away,so the dog just kept following me around.Anyway I asked about adoption,but he wasn't cleared for adoption for 2 months for treatment due to being abused.I sadi forget it and walked out,Then this comes running outside to tell me that the dog started crying as soon as I left the store.She said she had never seen a bind form that quickly,so she gave him to me for free ,plus 80 pounds of dog food ,leash,colar,bowls,and bed...FREE!!She told me to just briong him back every week for treatment.Great story..RIGHT!!Anyway nice to meet you.I see your new here.If you would like to chat,hit me up.I would love to hear from you!!Try to get your friend to sign up.
