Does getting back together with your ex really work long-term?
Do you think that it is possible to get back together and have a long-term relationship? Can you put your differences aside and make it work?

hello" I had a relationship with this guy for about 5 years and then we broke-up,I beleive it was because he worked entirely to much and I needed some attention and wasn't getting enough. well anyway we somehow broke-up and about 7 years pasted by. do you know that after all that time we got back together again. He still works like a crazy person, doing double shifts 7 days a week. Personally I think that's entirely to much working for one person, but he does it and that takes alot of time from us, which I don't think is good and when he do find a little time, he don't spend it with me most of the time, because he has children that don't live with us, so I kind of understand him wanting to spend time with them because he don't get to see them that often. but I still think he should find some way of including me in some of those activities at lease sometimes. I'm affraid we may easily get right back the way we were, because there is no quality time for us and I mean other than have sex. I say that because that use to be the only time we founded time for each other at one time and now there is almost no sex at all. I see it happening all over again and I don't want that. Anything is possible but I really can't say if it would work long-term or not. everyones situation is different.

It happens every day. I know a couple who were highschool sweethearts. The lady "needed a break" and said she could "never be with him again" for whatever reason at the time. They talked once in a while, some time passed, and she realised she made a huge mistake. They got back together, got married, have 3 gorgeous happy children and a wonderful marriage. She said, " I realised what a mistake I had made and we fixed it." As long as both of you are willing to work on whatever the problem was...or maybe one or both of you just werent ready, got afraid of taking the next step...never say never. People can change and people can really make a difference in your life if you give them a chance...or even a second or third chance...As long as you love and care for one another, anything is possible!
