broken promise, broken heart

We met in a yahoo chat room when we were 14 and became friends quick. We even dated online when we were 15. We've kept in touch for almost 5 years now. You told me in March that you are in Iraq, that evening I realized my feelings were real. We decided to meet when you got back. You kept telling me you loved me and you chose me. You kept trying to convince me to move in with you when you got back and I kept convincing you to move near me.
A month ago I found out from my best friend that you couldn't wait to move in with your girlfriend Jamie, she thought you were talking about me. You ripped my heart out and I fear we can't save this friendship.
