Do you set time aside in your busy schedule? Do you ask your partner before committing to any invitations?

this right here is tricky business. there are many variables when it comes to relationships and spending time such as likes, dislikes, certain friends and hobbies, etc. for example, if i'm with a girl who likes to go dancing that's great; but if she always likes to bring her girls with her, that's not so great. I'm a firm believer that when ur in a relationship that ur significant other should come second only to family, or maybe that one very best friend you've had since grade school. Another example is if you make plans to do something petty such as go out dancing with your girlfriends a week in advance, but your boyfriend gives u two days notice that he wants you to attend a dinner with his family; you go to dinner with him!!!!! first of all, take it from me, if a guy wants u to meet fam then he's really feeling u!!! second, even if it was something simple or something u didn't like such as a sporting event you still go with him because that's part of the commitment that u made to him.....don't get me wrong, it goes both ways; and u should expect the same in return.
To specifically answer ur questions without babbling(sorry), Yes you do set a time aside in your busy schedule. if it's really that busy any smart guy would notice what ur doing for him. after so long it'll become a two-way thing, like MON we watch our shows and FRI we go to movies or whatever. Yes you do ask ur partner before commiting to any invites!!!! just u asking alone shows a great deal of respect for him or her and they'll probably be OK with it just because u asked, even if it's something they don't agree with.
Hope i was able to help and remember the name cuz i'm sure i'll be need some advice sometime
